CNPS :- 89

Just skimming my last blog as I deleted it from the word document, I noticed a mathematical error. I wouldn't normally flag it up, yet I feel it pushes forward my earlier point even further to the realm of complete rightness.
I've actually known Nick Taylor for 134 months. This is not 15 times longer than Grace has known him, it's almost 17 times. So whereas he's probably fed Grace and changed her nappy over the last week or so, all I've had is an email lamenting the death of ODB, and some insults about my ability at table football (which I am SO much better at them him). That doesn't seem exactly fair does it?
Oh, er, yeah, well I suppose he sent an email about going out at Christmas, but I'm sure he'll end up bringing Grace and trying to tell us how cute she is.
Of course, by Christmas, Grace will have known Nick for 9 months. I'll have known him for 135. This will bring what I call the 'How Long You've Known Glenn Should Be Equal To How Much Fuss Glenn Gets Factor' (or HLYKGSBETHMFGGF for short) down from almost 17, to 15 again. Which will bring us back to the state in the last blog. Tsk!
It's okay, I'll wait. I'm going to turn up at Grace's 7th birthday party, eat all the jelly and ice cream and then spoil the game of pass the parcel by holding onto it a little bit too long each time it comes round to me. When I'm asked to leave, I'll bring up the HLYKGSBETHMFGGF. Even though it will only be 2.5 then, Nick will be ashamed about how negligent he had been over the seven years previously. Then I'll have won. Ha!

Listening to 'Godspeed You Black Emperor' whilst driving to work though the dreary and damp streets of Preston is quite an odd experience. Preston is my Paris, Texas. It seemed to calm my road rage down though, I only called one other driver a bad name. And he deserved it.
